Robin Williams was a stand up comic and feature film actor known for his witty improvisations. Even after he kicked the cocaine it often seemed like he was amped. Everyone already knows this, though. Most people also knew he was an excellent dramatic actor thanks to movies like Good Will Hunting and Dead Poet’s Society. Not to mention Awakenings and The Fisher King. But did you know he was also an excellent “bad guy” and was great as being “dark”? Perhaps he was drawing from something inside himself. Five great movies for this “darkness” are The Final Cut, World’s Greatest Dad, One Hour Photo, What Dreams May Come, and Insomnia.
